LITTLETON, CO, March 15, 2023 — Chris “Cassidy” Mentch has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. With many years of excellence as a singer and songwriter, Mr. Mentch has earned distinction as a performer and recording artist. As an accomplished lyricist he has both written and recorded: “Give Me Your Song,” “We Are One,” “Candlelight and Wine,” “Where Words Don’t Come Easy,” “Here’s to You” and “Rocky Mountain Melodies,” to name just a few. He has also written and recorded the theme song, “Inside Straight” and love song “My Alias” for the motion picture and pilot Instruments of Justice.
A self-taught guitarist with a love for astronomy, he cites Carl Sagan as an inspiring figure in his life, particularly regarding his stories about inspiring astronomers from the Renaissance and the “Cosmic Perspective” of viewing the earth from space.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Mentch earned a Bachelor of Science in business with a concentration in accounting from the University of Baltimore, graduating Summa Cum Laude and first in his class and is a certified public accountant. In addition to his music career, he authored “As I See It,” which was published by WestBow Press in 2015. In his book, he provides a behind-the-scenes look on his methods for songwriting and poetry, seeking to advise others who intend to break into the business as well. He employs a conversational tone, allowing for the reader to feel they are gaining advice from a friend.
Within the coming years, Mr. Mentch intends to build more success as a musician, including refining his skills by writing songs across genres, which would also afford him the opportunities to pursue other creative works, including television and movie production. Ultimately, he wholeheartedly believes people are more similar than they are different and utilizes his art to celebrate that philosophy.
